Wow, not bad. I may have to try it just to have something to play around with if it's no bigger than that.

Yea, but I wasn't sure if you included the other sub-directories like Profile, Program, Styles, etc.  Or did you? ...

Oh so y'all ARE talking about launch times of browsers.  I think that's silly (except in the case of Firefox where it can take half a minute Roll Eyes Grin).  A few seconds doesn't break my tea time.  If all constants are equal, Opera's load time doesn't surprise me (all those skin files and built-in features vs Chrome where I think the structure is more basic).

You're the last one I'd expect such words from. Roll Eyes If that doesn't break your tea time, how come you're so enthusiastic about optimizing every possible aspect, including boot time and shut down time? Grin

It's true that loading only is an issue in the case of Firefox, but that's why I brought it up. I simply refuse to use Firefox because it's so bloated and it takes forever to load. Thumb Down Opera has it all, even a simple but great e-mail client, which I use at work. Thumb Up

Because I don't think there's anything I can hack or tweak to speed it up apart from deleting / replacing the skin files, which I already did.  It's been this "slow" since I jumped onboard a few years ago.

Off-Topic! After running CCleaner on my work PC, Firefox loads much faster.  The Firefox on my home PC is the portable version, but that's always slow.  Something like that was part of the reason why I didn't want go with Opera portable.

Thanks. Smiley

It was the same in all 10.0 builds I think, at least I've never come across any Opera version not going crazy when loading that forum.
